A personal note: Texas summers really do cut into outdoor time compared to CA. But once clients see their mortgage payment side-by-side, CA vs. TX, that complaint tends to fade fast. Also, several relocating parents have told me school cafeteria food here beats what their kids had in California. Small thing, but it comes up more than you would think.
